DALL-E neural network

OpenAI has updated the DALL-E neural network, which generates images based on text descriptions. DALL-E 2 (https://telp.cc/HKL) is able to generate images with four times more resolution than its predecessor, and the image itself is now even more detailed and realistic. You can now add new objects to existing images and edit photos. DALL-E 2 also now combines elements of two images into one visual composition.

Berries Picking Swiss robots

Engineers at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland have developed a silicone raspberry that will help teach robotic pickers how to pick berries without damaging them. A “smart raspberry” with an integrated AI algorithm will “tell” the robot about the pressure it applies to the fruit when it is attached to the stem and already removed from it. #D365 #innovation #ideas #kentico #sitecore #rbt #hiring #jobs #career #India #usa #canada #australia #phillipines

Worth USD 2 Billion swimming pool with annual maintenance of $4 million

San Alfonso del Mar is the largest swimming pool in the world, more than a thousand meters long and about eight hectares, belongs to several Chilean hotels located in the resort of Algarrobo. It is located right next to the beach, because in this part of the Chilean coast the water is quite cold, and also teeming with sharks. So in order to attract tourists there, biochemist and entrepreneur Fernando Fishman decided to create a huge artificial lagoon with crystal clear ocean water. For this he developed a unique filtration system, which takes water from the Pacific Ocean, purifies it and heats it up to a comfortable 26°C. The pool took 5 years to build and cost $2 billion. The pool is also the most expensive to operate, costing $4 million a year to maintain. #entrepreneur #travel #software #jobs #hiring #rbt #kentico

Touching 1500° and not getting burned

Testing the shell heat protection for reusable space shuttles. On its way back from space, the spacecraft is hurtling toward Earth at speeds of up to 27360 km/h, causing the skin to heat up to the melting point of steel. To protect the ship from combustion, a similar heat shield is installed – it heats up, but does not transmit heat. #D365 #innovation #ideas #kentico #sitecore #rbt #hiring #jobs #career #India #usa #canada #australia #phillipines
